Scheduled
After many months of research and planning, tomorrow we are moving the hosting for the BlueFolder apps to Microsoft Azure, a cloud hosting platform that provides the ideal balance of capability, performance, and familiarity for our team.

Despite looking at a variety of ways to move BlueFolder to Azure with the least amount of downtime as possible, the safest, most secure way to make the move is with a single maintenance window that allows us to basically "turn off" the BlueFolder apps, backup all of the data, move everything to the new data center and load it all onto the new infrastructure. Once the data is loaded onto the new infrastructure, we will turn BlueFolder back on. This is an over-simplification, but our job is to make this seamless for our customers and we've made plans for exactly that. If all goes according to plan, you won't notice anything different.

Please be assured of the following:
- Data security and integrity are our top priorities and we won't do anything to jeopardize those during this move. If anything goes wrong, we will likely cancel the move and postpone it to a subsequent weekend.
- Your BlueFolder account data will not be modified in any way during this move.
- The BlueFolder application functionality is not changing as part of this move. BlueFolder will work exactly the same after the move as it does before the move.
- All data backups, transfers, and maintenance are being performed behind firewalls, VPNs, and directly by our engineering team here at BlueFolder.
- After the move, our team will be closely monitoring the new infrastructure for any issues that could impede your ability to use BlueFolder as you normally do.

How you can help:
- Please be patient. We know this is a long maintenance window and we're sorry it has to be this way, but we've chosen a low-usage time window in order to minimize the impact to you. However, we know some of our customers work 24/7/365 and will still be impacted by this move. We will do everything we can to move as quickly as possible during the move. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
- As stated above, there are no functionality changes associated with this move, but do keep an eye out for any performance issues. Our goal with this move is to have the same or better performance than before, so if anything seems slower, please let us know.
- Please hold your feature requests for about a week so we can "keep the lines clear" for any performance issues and allow our team to keep all attention focused on monitoring the new infrastructure as closely as possible.

Please contact our support team at support@bluefolder.com if you have any questions.
